Having a disability does not prevent me from going after my goals and dreams. I'm certainly capable of doing anything anybody else can do. I've had an interest in many academic subjects. I started teaching myself computers and web design in middle and high school, and in college, I studied physics, graphic design, video production, and mathematics. After college, I began working at a local comic book store. This gave me the advantage of having my social life expanded as I started mingling with creative, unique people who have the same interests as me. Then I started working with computers at an advocacy organization for people with disabilities. I enjoy what I do and what I have accomplished. |
