What a wonderful crazy life I have!

Life is learning that when you open yourself up to the wonderful blessings the universe has in store and facing your fears head on opens up even more joyful blessings!

I am a single mom of two grown beautiful kids (daughter & son) also a son in law who I count as one of my own :)

I told my daughter and son in law, when I was about to turn 45 that I was very depressed and that the only thing that would make the milestone not so horrible would be if they made me a Granny. They chuckled and eloquently changed the subject, but not a year later they gave me my greatest gift! My beautiful grandson Oliver! Witnessing his birth was the most meaningful experiences I have had up to this point. As scared as I was at times my daughters determination and strength was an inspiration to me! I have never seen anyone work as hard as she did delivering him. She was amazing! She was determined to have a successful home birth and she succeeded tenfold!

Life is at times toilsome and at times it would seem so simple throwing in the towel and saying screw it. What a wondrous thing it is when we power through all the nastiness and dig deep to climb that next mountain and realize we are victorious!

In the end the reward is the realization that life is wonderful and I'm so very grateful for mine!

My kids are as ever, a cornerstone of my joy and the closeness we share is as always a blessing! The ones they have chosen are as dear to me as my own and am so grateful they are in our lives.

I learned the other day that at the heart of every star contains the components or building blocks to create a world just like ours....therefore it gives me much comfort knowing we all came from the same star :)

The other morning when I woke up and looked out the balcony window, the sky looked like a fairy tale painting. The picture stirred something deep within me and I thought only something completely Divine could have painted that sky. The Divine that dwells within me recognized and honored the Divine that created that beautiful morning and so in a joyful voice I said "Namaste" :)

Life is a lovely thing and as nasty as mine has ever been I have always loved living it :)
